EnthiosHub — Content Moderation Policy

Version: 1.0 · Effective: [EFFECTIVE DATE] · grievance@enthioshub.com

This Policy explains how EnthiosHub moderates content and enforces its rules, consistent with its role as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Intermediary Guidelines Rules, 2021. It supplements the Community Guidelines and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Scope#

Applies to all content and conduct on the Platform, including Event listings, announcements, chat/messages, reviews, submissions, profiles, and uploaded media.

2. Intermediary Role#

2.1. EnthiosHub does not pre-screen or actively monitor all content and is not the author of User-Generated Content. We act on content upon knowledge (e.g., via reports or lawful orders), consistent with safe-harbour requirements.

2.2. We are not obliged to host any content and may remove or disable access to content that violates our rules or the law.

3. Grounds for Action#

We may remove content or act against accounts that:

  • Violate the Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy, or Terms;
  • Are unlawful under the categories in the Intermediary Guidelines Rules, 2021;
  • Are fraudulent, misleading, or harmful (including fake Events);
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy;
  • Endanger safety or involve harm to children.

4. Reporting & Response#

4.1. Anyone may report content to grievance@enthioshub.com. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours and act within the timelines applicable under law.

4.2. On a valid court order or notice from an authorized government agency, we will remove or disable unlawful content within the prescribed time (as required, within 36 hours for certain orders) and preserve information as required.

5. Enforcement Actions#

Depending on severity, actions may include: content removal; warnings; feature restriction; account suspension or termination; unpublishing/removal of Events; fund freeze; and reporting to law-enforcement.

6. Automated Detection#

We may use automated tools (e.g., plagiarism detection for competition submissions, fraud/abuse signals) to assist moderation. Automated decisions may be reviewed on request.

7. Appeals#

Affected Users may appeal a moderation decision by writing to grievance@enthioshub.com. We will review appeals and respond within a reasonable period.

8. Transparency & Records#

We maintain records of moderation actions and grievances for audit and compliance.
